Owls Club Stream Restoration

Local volunteers along with the Owls Club and the Antietam Watershed Association planted native trees and shrubs surrounding the West Branch Antietam Creek. This park, known for picnics and fishing, received the best natural stream restoration last fall and the riparian tree and shrub planting aids the plan for getting this stream back in shape for future years to enjoy. Big thank you to the Owls Club members for bringing snacks and plenty of good cheer to the event and with the turn out of members and girl scout troops the planting was a huge success, thank you to everyone involved!
