Below is a copy of the thank you letter tthat appeared in the Record Herald.

The streamside planting project at Quincy Home and Village on Saturday, Oct. 2, was another successful project for the Antietam Watershed Association and its partners. At the forefront, the Waynesboro Lions Club secured the grant monies to pay for the 650 trees and shrubs that were planted. Chesapeake Bay Foundation provided the expertise, trees, shrubs and holes! Quincy Hardware donated 4 cubic yards of mulch. Quincy Home and Village fed us lunch, and many residents of the Village were among the more than 70 people that attended. The National Honor Society from Waynesboro High School sent a contigent. Many cub scouts from the Tuscarora District and Sabillasville, MD, particpated, and Vision Quest came with a group. Beaver Creek Watershed Association always sends us volunteers. Whether you were 7 or 70, it was a most gratifying day. Thank you to all that participated. It truly was a community effort.
